Poster for the 1896 world premiere of Puccini's opera La bohème, which was designed by Adolfo Hohenstein.

Hohenstein also designed a famous poster for Puccini's opera, Madama Butterfly (Madame Butterfly), a famous and dramatic poster for Puccini's La Tosca, and stage sets, props and costumes for Puccini's La bohème (see below) and La Tosca.
