Rubinstein was a great interpreter of the works of Frederic Chopin. According to The New York Times, Rubinstein was one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century.

Gertrude "Gertie" Millar (1879-1952) was an English actress and singer who was famous for her roles in Edwardian musical comedies (many of which were composed by her husband Lionel Monckten). She was later known as the Countess of Dudley.
